Soup Starter:
Pork pozole – a traditional, hearty Mexican stew featuring tender chunks of pork, large kernels of hominy (dried corn kernels), and a rich, flavorful broth made from chiles – served with a variety of fresh, crunchy garnishes including cabbage, radish, onion, and of course, fresh lime.
Complementary Drink:
Refreshing hibiscus tea (agua de Jamaica) is slightly acidic and sweet; the perfect complement with the flavors of Mexico!
Main Dish:
Steak and Chicken tacos, featuring flavorful marinated beef steak and chicken breast, grilled or seared, and served warm in housemade tortillas. Other flavors come from toppings and creamy sauces and salsas. Sides include chips, rice, and refried beans.
Dessert:
Flan – A creamy baked custard dessert with a smooth, silky texture topped with a layer of clear, soft caramel sauce
Horchata – a sweet and creamy milk-based drink, with a hint of cinnamon.

Last summer, we had the pleasure of serving our food in Empire, where Grocer’s Daughter welcomed us as a “kitchen takeover,” and the community showed us incredible love and support.
